I have always had a love-hate relationship with the month of December. First of all, I was born in the month of December (I just turned 36 recently *tears*) and we have YES (Year End Sale) in Malaysia. On top of that, the moment it reaches 1st December, I start to receive miscellaneous messages via SMS and e-mail offering special promotions for my birthday. *gigitjari* Sigh…I can’t squeeze in all shopping in one month time! It’s so frustrating 😦 (hahaha…I know I’m exaggerating!)
As we all know, December also is the month of school holidays, so automatically it is the peak season for travelling and everything becomes very expensive. Double the sigh. Besides that, for some odd reason, things tend to happen in December that force me to fork out my savings.
Anyway, despite all the challenges, I managed to squeeze in some shopping, celebrated my birthday with amazing people around me, and we (hubs and I) finally get to go for holiday together after so many cancelled plans. Yay! All in all, it has been a great month for me. Alhamdullilah, I am really thankful for His blessings.
I will blog about my holiday trip soon…tunngguu!!!
Btw, special thanks for my wonderful colleagues. What I thought going to be Hui Ling’s 2nd farewell dinner, also ended up being surprise birthday celebration for me. Do ignore my “comot” face 😛
