Sigh. Another day of getting stuck in a 2-hour evening traffic jam in KL. Both of us neither have the mood nor the energy to cook dinner.  What to eat? What to eat? As usual, we drove around in a daze in Bangsar hoping to get inspired on our culinary choices. And guess what? There’s a new restaurant! Yay!

We made a pit stop at this new place called MIKEY’S ORIGINAL NEW YORK PIZZA at Telawi 2. The place serves authentic American New York pizzas and various other mouth-watering American dishes like buffalo wings, philly cheesesteaks, heroes, fries, and other stuff.

Our verdict? IT’S AWESOME!!!

Eons ago I went to study in the US, and one of the things I’ve missed from there are their pizzas. Mikey’s has the closest taste to the food I had when I was there… It’s like daddy’s home! 🙂

Sigh. The damage. But not complaining.

Be prepared for bearably-long queues. It’s a new place and has the usual teething problems that comes with a new restaurant opening. But hey, it’s worth it! Seriously, the pizzas are THAT good! (We were lucky to come a bit early, and there were seats. The people behind us had to wait for quite awhile. And no, we’re not going to give up our seats. We’re ordering seconds.)
