I have been craving for a good chocolate cake for the longest time. Tried a few, but found none that I quite like. I have been hearing good reviews about Jaslyn Cakes for quite awhile, but haven’t managed to try them out before because they closed as early as 7pm on weekdays. One day we finally made our move to Jaslyn Cakes and we decided to have the Peanut Butter Chocolate cake. The verdict? Simply superb!

I love that the cake was moist (I hate dry cakes!) and I loved it even more when it was blended with peanut butter filling. I swore there was a sweet explosion in my mouth!  We also ordered the butter loaf to go and we love it too!

All these cakes were baked fresh in the store on daily basis! You’ll get a good feeling that the moment you enter the shop because you can actually smell all the good food. The freshness lingers in the air. Ahh, that bakery smell. 🙂

Below is the price list for the cakes. You can order the whole cake, but it has to be done 3 days in advance.

Besides cakes and pastries, Jaslyn cakes also serves organic teas, coffees, freshly squeezed juices. Perfect place to hang out during tea time!
